Congratulations to Ves Raj Bastola who has been selected by the Astam Computer Centre Committee to run our Computer Centre at the Shree Bhumeshwor School. Ves Raj was a mathematics teacher and administrator at a boarding school for ten years and mathematics teacher for three years at the Shree Bhumeshwor School where our Centre is located. Ves Raj is committed to youth welfare and is currently the President of the Hemja Youth Club.

He is also the President of Dyilo Agricultural Cooperative, a group that is dedicated to the sharing of knowledge and resources for subsistence farming in the region. Ves Raj was involved in our Astam project from day one and is absolutely dedicated to working with computers for the education of students in the region.

We are thrilled that he is the computer teacher and an education consultant for our work in Nepal.
