E-Tutor’ing From Australia
We would like to thank the RMIT University’s School of Education and Dr Richard Johnson for allowing the students in Astam to participate in their e-Tutor Program.
We had some technical difficulty with connecting to the internet that delayed the school’s participation, but eventually were able to logged on! The students in Nepal were thrilled at being able to ‘chat’ online and to have the opportunity of providing a window on village life to the RMIT education students.
E-Tutor is a collaborative project between RMIT University and schools in Malaysia, India and Nepal. It involved teacher education students from RMIT interacting with school students through an online collaborative environment to assist the school students with their English language skills.
