After a four-year hiatus, we returned to Tanahun to start a new cluster of computer centres and teaching labs in this District. We were in Tanahun in 2015 after the earthquake and installed a water filtration system in one of the local high schools.

For a rural government school, Mangalodaya had a well-appointed computer room with good furniture and five desktop computers. However, they were over six years old, only two were working, and the computers had CRT screens which are high power consuming devices. There was no backup power supply to power them when the electricity was off which was frequent.

We delivered and installed ten Lenovo laptops with the latest Microsoft software with external mouse and provided training to teachers at the school. The addition of laptops that were fast and could operate for five hours without power would allow the school to conduct classes without disruption.
